This isn’t a real life situation so don’t read to much into it.

But lets say that a man with a child whom he is currently paying cs for and is having money taken out of his paychecks quits his job. He quits his job because he married a super rich woman who supports him. Legally the court can’t take money from her to support the child but how do they calculate how much he has to pay?

My family is going through some difficult times. And I’m sure we are not the only family in our church who is. And it occured to me that if I am trying to pray, then there are others who are also doing the the same because of their difficulties. There is no day care in our church. Fact is there really isn’t all that many children in our church that a day care would be a must. But there are a few children (under the age of 5) who are way over my tolerance for patience. I am a mother of 5 and a grandma of 12 children, so I do love kids. But when you have one child running up and down the isle another one fighting with it’s sibling and another one marching in the balcony area, doing a stomp routine, well I simply want to scream since the parents simply must be blind, deaf etc since they don’t do anything to correct them. The pastor has mentioned it in the past, and even talked to the certain parents privately, only they simply stop going to church. Help!

If the child is in college and doing well, the non-custodial parents should have to help the child while in school. I mean the custodial parent is always helping the student correct?
The reason I asked this question is because I am a college student who is getting child support from my somewhat of a father and yes I am 20years old and I am in school and I do have 2 jobs, but school is high and my mother helps out, but my somewhat of a father pays child support, but it will stop on my 21st birthday. I don’t think that it is fair since my mother has been supporting and helping me for the last 20 years and my father has been helping here and there when he has the money to always help. I respect fathers and mothers who take care of their kids but I feel and know that college is when money is really needed and everyone cannot just make enough on their own to take care of themselves and for those who do, I respect you and admire you.

Are there any other options (refrigerator dial lock,perhaps) out there to prevent him from turning the dial to turn the fridge off?

Ok. My son is almost 3. He can open any lock. He sneaks in kitchen and opens the refrigerator and turns it off. I have a child lock on fridge but he can open it easier than I can. Are there any other options (refrigerator dial lock,perhaps) out there to prevent him from turning the dial to turn the fridge off? I DO Have a LOCK on door to kitchen which he scoots chair or anything over and unlocks himself.

The tv is stuck on the AV1 position and I am not able to use the TV mode button on the tv to change it back to tv. A message pops up saying child lock and no other button works. I tried cutting off the tv and unplugging it, I also tried to push a couple of buttons in hopes that it was some type of reset programmed on the tv. I’m a 15 year old girl scout (don’t ask) and i’m working on my gold award. That’s like a really big 4 year project. Some people build shelters or send books to 3rd world countries.

I really want to do something to help stop child abuse. I read the book ‘A Child Called It’ and it made me really want to do something to stop or prevent child abuse. Ludacris’s new video ‘Runaway Love’ really influenced me too.

Doing something for the victims in the shelters is easy, but they’re already saved. I want to help the other children who really need it.

I know it’s a lot to ask and there’s no real way to stop it. But there has to be something I can do. And I have a whole troop supporting me and 4 years to do it.

And by the way, I can’t fundraise.

Any ideas are appreciated.

I just wanted to add that I live in a city where there is definately child abuse present. No doubt.
