Can you recommend any charities for prevention of or treatment for sexual abuse against women and children?
Elisabeth L asked:
I would like to donate to a charity whose goal is to prevent and/or treat the consequences of the **** or other sexual abuse (trafficking, etc.) against women and children. The charity could address the problem either within the U.S. or internationally. It could apply to the prostitution of children or the rampant problem of **** as a weapon of war. I would really appreciate your suggestions. Thank you.

RAIN – **** and ****** Network (Tori Amos)
There are also some on the Causes and Groups features on Facebook that I have seen lately, some of which you can help by just joining and you don’t have to donate if you don’t want to, you can invite your friends.
There are also local agencies that help out abused women and children, just check your local yellow pages.
Thank you for caring!

Catholic Charities operates abused women shelters that house the victims and their children. If need be that can even be in another state. This help is given to all, religious beliefs are not considered.
Catholic Charities offers counseling services, homes for unwed mothers and almost any service a woman needs.

Try the United Nations if you’re after a worldwide organisation that is working tirelessly to overcome violence against women and children.
In Australia you could donate to a centre against sexual assault who deliver programs/education and give crisis support to survivors.
In the US try RAINN.
And let’s not forget Amnesty that does amazing things for human rights.
Thumbs up for donating to a cause. Have a great Christmas and New Year.
