You can look in the yellow pages for non-profit organizations supporting veterans or homeless or the poor etc. or you can go directly to the donation centers. In Portland, I know of two in my area, one is on the corner of 92nd and Halsey and does a booming buisiness, Another is on 102nd and Glisan. I have never heard of a middleman for this but would very warry of a scam. Nobody does this for free you get a tax deduction. Even the non-profits have to pay thier employees.</description>
